How many doctors do you have? If you’re like most, you probably have one primary care physician who refers you to a specialist for whatever ails you. Once you arrive at the office of the specialist, you are inevitably asked to fill out a questionaire about your health history. But, just how accurate is your memory?
In order to protect yourself from being given a faulty prescription or superflous test, many now are keeping their own personal health records. Dr. Carolyn Clancy from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality provides tips in this podcast for people wanting to create a personal health record.
